The meeting of Dr. Alireza Zali, Chancellor of the University with Dr, Jaffar Hosain, WHO representative in the Middle East
On Monday, May 15, 2023 Dr. Alireza Zali, Chancellor of the University hosted Dr, Jaffar Hosain, WHO representative in the Middle East, and Dr. Taghi Zadeh, Representative of Health population of the Region.
This meeting was held and planned with the help of Dr. Sharif Kashani, Vice-Chancellor of International Affairs, and diligence of the Management of the Development of International Relations, in order to introduce Intelligent Hospital Management Capacities of the University and its relevant system (IHMS).
In this meeting Dr. Tohidloo, Executive Vice-Chancellor of the International Affairs, Mr. Ali Javani, Head of the Development of International Relations, Dr. Haeri Vice-Chancellor’s Advisor, Dr. Piri executive Consultant to the Chancellor of the University, Dr. Zandi Health Vice- President, Dr. Sohrabi Vice-President of Health Affairs, Dr. Jamshid Salimzadeh, Food and Drug Deputy of the university were present.
This meeting was planned following the university achievements presentation at the meetings of the health and medical authorities of the G5 member countries, and Dr, Jaffar Hossain’s familiarization of the capacities of the IHM system and his interest in obtaining complete information of the IHMS’ facilities. For this purpose, representatives from IT and Human Resources Productivity were invited.
This meeting initiated with Dr. Sharif Kashani and Dr. Zali’s welcoming speech and continued with Dr. Sohrabi’s lecture on the capacities and health potentials of the university in the common field of cooperation.
At the next stage, the IHMS’ facilities and university plans to expand its application were explained in details by the Chancellor and technical information was clarified by the IT Manager.
This system got positive visions of WHO invited representatives, and regarding the system’s capabilities after primary internal coordination and announcement of exact time by WHO, the university will take actions in order to introduce the IHM system precisely in a special session for Middle East countries.
